About Us
Luna Porcelain was set up in 2007 by Christine Roberts (63) after a trip to South Africa where she saw the products being sold in a host of high-end boutiques. Once back in the UK Christine started making enquiries about getting the distribution rights for the UK and Ireland.
Coincidentally the owner and designer of Luna C., Lynne Lange, was in the process of exploring whether the UK would be a viable market for her range of giftware. They both decided due to the reasonable price point, exceptional quality and beautiful packaging of the products, that they could easily find a market with the growing number of boutiques and gift shops in the UK.
To this day the Luna Porcelain range is constantly expanding and evolving in order to stay ahead of the competition and they are due to launch an exclusive range for the UK in 2010 along with some 'signature' and 'limited edition' items.
Despite the economic struggles affecting many businesses across the world, the future looks bright for Luna Porcelain. Christine's story should serve as an inspiration for any entrepreneur about to step into the business arena during a recession, and equally motivating for those just shy of reaching retirement, thinking about exploring new avenues.
This is just a short summary of the whole story of Luna porcelain.
